As I get more budget for Bug & Claw, I have been trying to use it to collaborate with excellent industry creators. The last big one was a reimagined logo and brand identity by Tim Hastings of MindKillerInk. Now we have a few more excellent spot illustrations from tabletop legend Hodag!

The following illustrations cover as much of the gamut of what Hodag was able to tackle, like:

• Dice, a pencil, and some note paper for the how to play section
• One-handed and multi-handed variations of weapons:
  • Swords
  • Hammers/clubs

  • Spears

  • Bows
  • Crossbows

  • Different types of musical drums

  • “Gon,” aka the money of B&C, consisting of shiny gem stones and gold
  • The crystal from a bug-kin’s head (all bug-kin have a crystal in their head and some bounties demand the crystal as proof of death, and they may be used for other things...)

Once I have a good alpha version of Bug & Claw ready, I hope to be able to do more full-color illustrations myself. I have a few ideas for full page character and environment illustrations kicking around in my head that might help people better understand the setting and lore of Bug & Claw. Plus, Hodag can't have all the fun!
