I've been asked a few times what the inspiration for Bug & Claw has been. The ideas for Bug & Claw, starting with Phil and Fred, two unlikely friends of humanoid lady bug and crab, came to me at times that I needed escape. Ladybugs kept getting into my office, a single one landing on me or my computer, distracting me, it seemed when I needed it most. Creative writing and imagination began to expand, influenced by some of my favourite media over the years.
